Our range of moisture resistant MDF is ideal for use in humid conditions so is perfect for applications such as kitchen and bathroom furniture, window and skirting boards and architectural mouldings.
This high strength product has an even texture which can be machined easily and can be treated with a number of finishes including foils, paints, gloss and stains. Typically green in colour to identify it as moisture resistant, all boards are FSC certified, highlighting Lambson Building Products’ commitment to sustainably managed forests.
Our range of fire resistant boards have been specifically designed to help contain the spread of a fire within a structure. FR products should always be a consideration when planning any project where the risk of fire is medium to high. The product is dyed red throughout the core to identify it as fire resistant.
Around 30% lighter than standard panels, our range of lightweight MDF products are most commonly used within the shop fitting, caravan, bar fitting and shelving industries. With our ability to ‘cut-to-size,’ we are able to meet any specification and in so saving the customer time and energy when it comes to that all important project. With the products excellent machining and finishing capabilities, lightweight MDF is the perfect choice for weight saving applications.

LammyLite has a comparable strength, sound insulation and screw retention properties to standard MDF but at less than half the weight. In market areas where end product weight is of critical importance, such as shop fitting, motorhome manufacture and the marine industry, LammyLite is unmatched.
